CAPPS provides the framework for providing an interface between the Payroll/Personnel System user community, the program staffs at departmental level, and the technical systems staff at NFC. The Committee interacts with the other system users and NFC in implementing, operating, maintaining, and continually improving the automated USDA Payroll/Personnel system. CAPPS provides leadership and guidance to user Agencies regarding the Payroll/Personnel system and ensures the integrity of the system. Listed below are the meeting minutes and associated materials for CAPPS meetings. Meetings will be held every quarter or every three months at 10:00 AM in the USDA complex. Special meetings may be called as needed.
CAPPS Meeting Materials
Client Management Branch (CMB) Representatives
The NFC Payroll/Personnel Customer Community has formed several User Groups which are attended by customers using the applications. Listed below are meeting minutes and associated materials for each User Group. Meetings are typically held once a month and discussions range from day-to-day problems and solutions to enhancements and new development efforts. A subject matter representative with an interest in participating in a User Group should submit the request through his/her CAPPS representative to the User Group chairperson.
Working Groups can be established through CAPPS, User Groups, or NFC management. The Working Group provides a forum for members to offer input and discuss requirements/changes on specific project(s). Working Groups are short term and disbanded once the group completes system testing and validates the integrity of the system changes. Listed below are meeting minutes and associated materials for each Working Group.
