Assistance with W-2 Inquiries

Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement (W-2), is printed and mailed to the residence address of record for each employee receiving wages from an organization payrolled by NFC during a given calendar year. W-2s are mailed by January 31 of the following year.

Effective April 15, 2012, NFC changed its process for reprinting W-2s. W-2s and corrected W-2 (W-2Cs) are available for reprinting via the two following options:

  • Employee Access: Employee Personal Page (EPP)

The W-2 is available under Personal Info on the EPP left-hand menu. Employees who have not previously signed up for EPP may do so by accessing the link on NFC's home page and following the prompts
as applicable.

Note: For data security reasons, NFC will no longer provide reprints of W-2s directly to employees.

  • Agency Access: Reporting Center

If current or former employees do not have EPP access, they should contact their current or former Servicing Personnel Office (SPO) to request W-2 and W-2C reprints. When SPOs receive requests from current employees for W-2 and W-2C reprints, they are encouraged to inform current employees to utilize EPP.

If the current or former employee does not have EPP access, the SPO can access the Reporting Center to reprint a copy of the employee’s W-2 and corrected W-2C. The W-2 Wage and Tax Statement report is available under the Financial Reports menu.

Agencies are encouraged to utilize the full suite of available reports on the Reporting Center. Agency representatives without current Reporting Center (or without access to the W-2 Wage and Tax Statement report) access should request access via their Agency Security Officer.

Effective October 1, 2012, Authorized (SPO)

Employees should contact their agency SPO for all issues related to pay, leave, benefits, W-2, and Thrift Saving Plan deductions.

NFC Contact Center Channels of Communication

Effective October 1, 2012, representatives listed on Table Management System Table 063, Contact Types 01, 02, 06 and 11 may contact the NFC Contact Center about payroll/personnel, EmpowHR, EPP, leave, benefits, and W-2 issues at the numbers below. Authorized SPO representatives with Requester Console access may submit incidents with attachments as needed. Any submitted incidents and attachments must adhere to PII data security guidelines.

Phone: Call 1-855-NFC4GOV (1-855-632-4468) from 6:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Central Time, Monday through Friday except for Federal holidays. These hours of operation are effective October 1, 2014.
Web: Submit incidents via the Internet using the Requester Console user ID. Users can submit incidents 24 x 7 except for scheduled maintenance periods.
