Implementation Strategy

The goal of our implementation strategy is to bring customer Agencies into the financial solution offered by FMS. This service permits our customer to acquire the business process integration, data conversion, deployment, hardware, and software licenses necessary to deploy the core financial system in conjunction with any optional systems selected. The major components associated with this implementation service are:

FMS Implementation plan consists of a series of phases based on SAP’s Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology and our practical experience in implementing the SAP solution within USDA. These phases include the following: Plan, Analyze, Design, Develop/Test, Deploy and Operate & Support. Quality checks are incorporated at the end of each phase to easily monitor deliverables and critical success factors. Formal reviews are incorporated into the process to ensure the tasks planned for one phase have been completed and are acceptable inputs into the next phase.
