SPPS Web
Effective Pay Period 06, 2015, the National Finance Center (NFC) will modify the Web-based Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS Web) to calculate city and county taxes prescribed by each city and county instead of using a 2 percent flat rate, if applicable. This modification will allow employees to pay taxes based on the prescribed rates of each city and county rather than a 2 percent flat rate.

Effective Pay Period 06, 2015, NFC will implement an Employee Debt Summary page within the Employee Personal Page (EPP) for Administrative Billings and Collections (ABCO) receivables and some commercial (third party) receivables for employees in pay, non-pay, or separated status.

Statement of Earnings and Leave
Effective Pay Period 06, 2015, NFC will modify the Form AD-334, Statement of Earnings and Leave, to remove the bond account references and to display the Credit Hours Balance, Religious Observance Compensatory Hours Balance, and Compensatory Travel Hours Balance.

Federal Holiday
In observance of Washington’s Birthday, the National Finance Center (NFC) will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2015, including the NFC Contact Center. All NFC applications will remain available during the holiday and payroll/personnel processing will continue as normally scheduled.

PAYE Schedule
NFC would like to advise all agencies of the Pay Computation System (PAYE) Processing Schedule for 2015. Due to a request from one of our customers, NFC will modify the PAYE Processing Schedule for Pay Periods 02, 03, 04, 05 and 07, 2015. For these Pay Periods only, Accounting Interface files and reports for Week 01 will be created and transmitted on Saturday instead of Friday.

Insight MD-715 Report Implementation
Effective Thursday, January 29, 2015, a deployment of the Management Directive 715 (MD-715) will be available in Insight.

The MD-715 report will allow users to report on gender, ethnicity, race, and disability data to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission. Insight will generate an Excel report that can be modified to meet Agency-specific requirements.
