NOTES 20-01, Listing of Annual Bulletins and Customer Notifications

Published: January 9, 2020
Effective: Pay Period 26, 2019

Summary

The National Finance Center (NFC) is committed to improving communication with our customers. To assist us in accomplishing this task, NFC is implementing two new tools aimed at keeping you aware of the timeframes for important communications.

As discussed at the 2019 Customer Engagement Experience, a new annual list of recurring communications is now available on the NFC Web site on the Annual Bulletins and Customer Notifications page. From this new page, customers can view a list of annually occurring customer notifications and bulletins by month, and also subscribe to receive them right there from the list.

The customer events calendar available on the HR and Payroll Clients page has also been enhanced to begin providing dates for important events such as User Group and Committee for Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) meetings, customer engagements, and important initiatives. Simply select the shaded date to view a full description of the event for that day. You can also select View Schedule to view a full page calendar month. Users will also be able to switch the view of events from a calendar view to a list view as per their preference.

Implementation

The annual list of recurring communications and the enhanced calendar can be accessed on the HR and Payroll Clients page. To access this page, select HR and Payroll Clients from the MyNFC drop-down menu on the NFC Home page. The current month's list of communications is displayed in the HR/Payroll Annual Communications section. Select the View Schedule button to view the Client Services/Annual Communications page. This page displays a list of NFC's annual bulletins and customer notifications by month, along with instructions on how to receive these communications.

The customer events calendar is also available on the HR and Payroll Clients page directly under the Application Launchpad.
