Beginning with wages paid for Pay Period 06, 2014, the National Finance Center (NFC) will change the withholding table for the State of Delaware.
- The percentage on annual amounts of $60,000 and over has decreased from 6.75 percent to 6.60 percent.
No action on the part of the employee or the personnel office is necessary.
Attached is the Delaware State Income Tax Withholding Information.
To view the updated tax formula, go to the NFC Home Page (
https://www.nfc.usda.gov) and click the Publications link at the top of the page. At the Publications page's left-hand menu, click Tax Formulas and select the appropriate State from the map provided. Changes to the tax formula are identified by "
