Sample Report
Position Organization Listing (POL): Provides the status of all positions within an organization. To run this report enter the optional Select Criteria and click Go. Note: All select criteria and sorting options are assigned default values as detailed below.
Fields on the report:
- Name - corresponds to the last, first and middle initial of an employee.
- SSNO - Social Security Number.
- Department
- Agency
- SON - Submitting Office Number.
- MR-NO - Master Record Number.
- IP-NO - Individual Position Number.
- Pay Plan
- Occ Ser - Occupational Series
- Grade/Step
- FPL - position's full performance level (FPL) grade.

- Supervisory Status - the nature of managerial, supervisory or non-supervisory responsibility assigned to an employee:
- 1 = Supervisor
- 2 = Supervisor/Manager
- 3 = Management
- 4 = Supervisor (CSRA)
- 5 = Management (CSRA)
- 6 = Leader
- 8 = Non-Supervisory

- Work Schedule indicates the time basis on which an employee is scheduled to work:
- F = full time
- G = full time seasonal
- H = full time on call
- P = part time
- Q = part time seasonal
- R = part time on call
- I = intermittent
- J = intermittent seasonal

- Type of Appointment Code the type of appointment given to an employee:
- CA = (1) Competitive-Career, SES Career
- CC = (2) Competitive-Career-Conditional

- CT = (4) Competitive-Temporary, Special Need, SES-Time Limited/Career

- Position Sensitivity Code - indicates the employee's position sensitivity designation:
- 0 = Not a Sensitive position
- 1 = Non-Sensitive/Low Risk
- 2 = Non-Critical Sensitive (National Security)
- 3 = Critical Sensitive (National Security)
- 4 = Special Sensitive (National Security)
- 5 = Moderate Risk (Public Trust)
- 6 = High Risk (Public Trust)

Security Clearance Code
- Security Clearance Code - indicates the employee's position sensitivity designation:
- 0 = Not Required
- 1 = Confidential. EO13526.
- 2 = Secret. EO13526.
- 3 = Top Secret. EO13526.

- 5 = Q.Atomic Energy Act of 1954

FLSA
- Fair Labor Standards Code - indicates whether an employee is covered by the minimum pay and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act:
- E = Exempt FLSA
- N = NonExempt FLSA
- Official Title - describes the official or classification title of the employee's position.
- Working Title - describes the organizational or working title of the employee's position as distinguished from the official or classification title.
- Promo NTE - Promotion Not-To-Exceed Date.
Selection Criteria:
The selection criteria categories allow you the flexibility to build custom reports by providing you options to indicate data fields and primary sort key. These selection criteria categories are optional.
- Organizational Structure - indicates the level of the organization you wish to select for the report (the default selection is based on your security access).
- Personnel Office Identifier (POI) - indicates the employing or servicing Personnel Office you wish to select for the report (the default selection is based on your security access). This field may also be referred to as the Submitting Office Number (SON).
- Pay Plan - indicates the pay plans you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Occupational Series - indicates the occupational series you wish to include on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Grade - indicates the grade levels you wish the be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Financial Disclosure Required - indicates whether the position requires its incumbent to file a Conflict of Interest Statement or Financial Disclosure Statement.
- Vacant/Filled/Action - indicates whether the position has an Incumbent Social Security Number associated with the individual position.
- Location - indicates Duty State, City, County locations you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Supervisory Status - the nature of managerial, supervisory or non-supervisory responsibility assigned to an employee.
- Suppress Additional Name Column - indicator to include or exclude the Additional Name Column on the report (the default is "Yes").
- Suppress SSNO - 2 - indicator to include or exclude the column for employee social security number on the report (the default is "Yes").
- Cybersecurity Codes - indicates to include cyber security codes on the report (the default is "All").
- Sort Order - this indicator provides you the option to select multiple sort keys for the report, such as (Grade, Occupational Series, and Org). If no sort option is specified, the organization levels are used.
Data Source: The
data source for this report is the National Finance Center's (NFC) Payroll/Personnel
and Position Management System's databases. Currently, the NFC Reporting Center performs a biweekly extracts to update the data.
