REPT 20-04, IRS Form W-2c, Corrected Wage and Statement Reminder

Published: December 18, 2020
Effective: January 1, 2021

The process to issue corrections to the current year's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, begins in February. This process continues throughout the year on an as-needed basis. Instructions are listed below for submitting a request for an IRS Form W-2c, Corrected Wage and Tax Statement.

The W-2 correction process starts with the submission of a request for the adjustment through Web-based Special Payroll Processing System (SPPS Web). The following information should be considered when requesting a W-2c:

Employees who are not current EPP users (or who need a new user identification (ID) or password) can locate sign-up instructions under My EPP. Log on to the internet and go to the NFC Home page. Select the HR and Payroll Clients page from the MyNFC drop-down menu and select the MyEPP icon on the HR/Payroll Application Launchpad.

A Quick Reference Card (QRC), which is available at NFC's Web site, can assist with accessing EPP, user identification availability, and password assistance.

For questions about NFC processing, authorized Servicing Personnel Office representatives should contact the NFC Contact Center at 1-855-NFC-4GOV (1-855-632-4468) or via the customer service portal.
