Module 1 – Insight Overview
- Describe the purpose of Insight and how it serves as an HR enterprise reporting tool
- Describe Insight and the value it provides for strategic reporting and decision making
- Describe key terms in Insight
- Describe the purpose of the Common Report Library
Module 2 – Role-based Security in Insight
- Describe the different levels of security in Insight
- Demonstrate how to verify the user’s access and permissions to run/edit reports in Insight
Module 3 – Data in Insight
- Describe the data structure in Insight
- Explain the three types of data elements in Insight
- Explain the six Subject Areas
- Describe table data in Insight
Module 4 – Navigating in Insight
- Demonstrate and describe basic Insight navigation
- Demonstrate how to find, run, and manipulate common reports
- Demonstrate how to create basic ad hoc reports and filters
Module 5 – Subject Areas
- Describe the data, data refresh cycle, and data history for each of the six subject areas
- Describe the calendar filters for each subject area
- Demonstrate how to create ad hoc reports in each subject area
Module 6 – Analyses and Views
- Describe the key characteristics of an Analysis and a View
- Describe the purpose and value of using Views
- Demonstrate how to use Views
